Advocacy Documentaries (30–60 Min)
Are you planning on exposing an animal farm that is practicing unethical animal violations? Were you wrongfully fired from your job over a severe discrimination claim?
Or do you have a creative project outside of advocacy that our studio can help you bring to life? To protect your security and professional reputation, your sent response remains entirely private, regardless of whether Afterlife Films accepts your case for active production. Afterlife Films provides a relentless, full-scale media defense.
We approach production assignments on four distinct pillars: deep investigation, securing witness testimony, producing cinematic, narrative driven media designed to shift public opinion, and launching an aggressive P.R. and social media campaign after the wrapping. Whether you are investigating a critical social cause or need to bring a deeply personal incident to the global stage, we produce impactful documentaries designed for maximum reach.
Episodic Documentaries
If you are launching a major creative endeavor, capturing a monumental event, or looking for a dedicated documentarian to follow a specific chapter of your life, we capture the moments that matter. Whether your project centers on a complex social cause or a multi chapter creative journey, we build cohesive, binge-worthy narratives designed for modern streaming and broadcast platforms.
Post-Production & Editing Services
If you have already captured your footage but need it shaped into a masterpiece, we offer elite editing and post production services. We specialize in polishing documentaries, episodic series, and high impact brand content. For time-sensitive projects, we offer around the clock, rapid-response editing to meet tight deadlines and high-stakes emergencies.
Every Afterlife Documentary Is Built to Move the Fight Forward
Some clients use their documentary privately as an advocacy and accountability tool, sending the film and targeted clips directly to key stakeholders. Others want maximum public exposure, using media, and other strategies to bring the issue to the widest possible audience. The campaign strategy is built around the client's ultimate objective.
Every Afterlife documentary is paired with a strategic PR and advocacy campaign. Depending on the campaign, we use the film as leverage by distributing the documentary and targeted short-form clips directly to legislators, policymakers, city councils, corporations, institutions, and other decision-makers; pitching the documentary to journalists and media outlets; launching social campaigns; organizing public screenings; and directing audiences toward petitions, policy action, donations, and other campaign goals.
For example, if the goal is to help pass legislation, our PR campaign may include building an email-banking team to distribute targeted clips from the documentary directly to legislators, policymakers, and relevant government offices—putting the story and the campaign's message directly in front of the people who can influence the outcome.
Smaller Budgets:
Smaller budgets are typically suited for focused local or community-level issues with a limited production and PR strategy. For example, a documentary investigating a neighborhood dispute, or a specific community concern.
Larger budgets
Larger budgets allow for deeper investigations, in-depth productions, broader media outreach, and longer-term campaign support.
In general, the larger the campaign investment, the more resources we can dedicate to producing, distributing, and amplifying your issue or cause.
Projects requiring significant travel outside Los Angeles generally require a minimum budget of $1,000.
Your budget should reflect the scope of the story and the level of impact you want the campaign to achieve.
